Brief:

We were challenged to create the identity and brand touchpoints for a micro restaurant in Dubai. Located in Ripe Market, Easy Peasy is part of a collection of micro restaurants that serve an extensive pedestrian customer based that frequents the park daily. The client wanted a nostalgia brand that creates this "sticky" effect between food and people. Words like crave, nostalgia, desire, comfort, and cheat were key to driving the direction of the name and stylistic approach.

Solution:

Our solution was a retro, yet modern approach that appeals to people and gives them a window to the Americana palette without being too kitsch. The palette has a 70's feel and the typography moves to keep the identity active. From identity to food photography, we wanted all touchpoints to have that sentiment to nostalgia. The brand was designed to be flexible as the menu options change from season to season.
