Empowering Champions: Gatorade's Dynamic Print Campaign with TBWA/Chiat/Day


Gatorade, rooted in the belief that top athletes draw their strength from within, sought to invigorate their Summer print campaign. Collaborating with the renowned ad agency TBWA/Chiat/Day, our objective was to bring the #winfromwithin message to life through a vibrant set of illustrations.


Partnering with three elite athletes, we meticulously crafted artwork that captured the essence of energy and texture emanating from the core of the canvas, where the Gatorade product takes center stage. This innovative strategy ensured the product remained a focal point while emphasizing its benefits for the athletes. Infusing each artist's depiction with a burst of energy from within became the driving force behind each composition. Granting Dwayne Wade the essence of fire, Kevin Durant the energy of lightning, and Serena Williams the coolness of ice elevated the athletes to larger-than-life status. To reinforce the message, typography was employed to convey the unique essence of each athlete, with concise slogans unifying texture and motion across the compositions.
